The news : it works.

I've been listening to it for some time now. It is plugged in the I2S input of the old Extremist DAC which has its onboard Guido-Tent-Clock reclocking. Of course, it uses the DAC clock and synchronizes the PC to it via ethernet. It sounds just like the old Extremist DAC did, only better.
